Jasmin Hasić


He holds a PhD in Political Science from the Universite libre de Brussels in Brussels and the LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome (2016). He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Sarajevo School of Science and Technology. He has also been hired as executive director of the Humanities in Action BiH Foundation. He has previously worked at the European Parliament, the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Brussels, and the Center for Security Studies in Sarajevo. His fields of research are comparative politics, diaspora and youth studies, peacebuilding, and transitional justice, with an emphasis on theoretical understandings of various forms of memory policy and the process of lustration in Central European countries. He has published thirty scientific and professional papers. He is a regular participant and exhibitor at international and national scientific conferences. He has received numerous honors and awards. He speaks English, Czech, Slovenian, Polish and Italian.


Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about EU policies, will gain insight into the basics of the EU legal system, will discuss about democracy and citizenship, enlargement policies and the relationship between BiH and the EU.


I think the project will help the participants to build and upgrade their capacity to operate effectively in the public sphere.
